Registration is now open for the 20th Annual Bloodhound Handlers Winter Seminar. The training is held at Kings Mountain State Park near Clover, South Carolina from December 2nd - 6th 2018.
The training seminar is structured for beginner to advanced tracking bloodhounds. Throughout the week, training will be conducted in wooded, residential and town areas mainly on the west side of York County.
Hosted by York County Sheriff's Office, the course is accredited by South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy (SCCJA) for 40 hours of continuing education.
The training is open to tracking hounds only. No other breed of dog will be permitted on the property.
Emphasis will be placed on actual fieldwork with day and night training. Hounds will be worked in primarily a wilderness area, however, urban areas are available.
